Bituach Haklai Central Cooperative Society Ltd., established in 1937, is owned by 290 kibbutzim, moshavim and agricultural associations.

Bituach Haklai writes general insurance products in the kibbutzim and private sectors as follows:

For kibbutzim and moshavim – Bituach Haklai writes various classes of property and liability insurance for residential, commercial and industrial risks in kibbutzim, including motor, home, property damage, loss of profits, third party liability, employers liability, products liability, directors and officers liability, livestock and marine cargo insurance.

In the private sector, Bituach Haklai writes motor, home, travel insurance and tailor-made products.

Bituach Haklai places an emphasis on maintaining its status as the leading kibbutz insurer by virtue of the extensive expertise and experience it has accumulated over the years and strives to providing first-class ser-vice and innovative solutions in the personal lines and commercial insurance sectors by providing optimal and tailored solutions for its policyholders. The holding structure of the association: Bituach Haklai Insurance Agency Ltd. (formerly Kibbutz Industries Insurance Agency Ltd.), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bituach Haklai, handles general insurance products as well as other products which the com-pany does not write, including pension schemes, health insurance, long term care insurance and overseas travel insurance. Bituach Haklai Insurance Agency Ltd. in turn holds an 80% share of Canaani Insurance Agency Ltd. This agency operates as the marketing wing of Bituach Haklai Insurance Agency in the north of Israel and holds a license to handle all classes of business dealt with by its parent company.

Bituach Haklai Insurance Agency Ltd. hold a 100% share of Mishkei Tenne Pension Insurance Agency Ltd. which markets life assurance, pensions and savings plans, health insurance, long term care insurance, personal accident insurance, mortgage protection insurance and financial management services for various capital market funds.

Bituach Haklai Insurance Agency Ltd. holds 60% of the share capital of Mishkei Palmachim Insurance Agency (2021) Ltd. The agency is licensed to operate in all lines of insurance and serves as the cooperative's principal marketing and underwriting arm in central and southern Israel.

Bituach Haklai Insurance Agency Ltd. holds 50% of the share capital of Shelahav Insurance Agency Ltd. The agency is licensed to operate in all lines of insurance and serves as the cooperative's principal marketing and underwriting arm in the Central Arava region.

Atudot Pension Fund for Employees and the Self-Employed Ltd. operates in the field of pension fund and provident fund management and is a subsidiary in which Bituach Haklai Central Cooperative Society Ltd holds a 50% ownership interest.
